This is a relatively pain free upgrade. I upgraded http://www.learncf.com and http://www.flexcf.com today ( Win2k3, IIS 6.0 ) with no more then stopping IIS stopping ColdFusion 9 and running the installer. A reboot was not required. 9.01 ships with JDK 1.6.17 where as ColdFusion 9.0 was 1.6.14 this may have some performance increases.
